An ELW 1.5 based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 519 CDI with a gross vehicle weight of 5500kg was handed over to the Velten fire department. The box body in BINZ-Rescube design with integrated Hänsch – warning system incl. red operation light, has a hydraulic support system to stabilize the vehicle.
