Another BINZ has arrived in the capital of Baden-Württemberg. The standby 12 of the DRK Stuttgart Weilimdorf took over a MZF based on MB Sprinter 314 CDI compact today. The multipurpose vehicle can carry either six or nine emergency personnel. By removing the work table shown with a Funktronic Major BOS tabletop control unit and installing the second original row of 3 seats in the crew compartment, the emergency vehicle can be transformed from a 6-seater MZF to a 9-seater MTW in just a few minutes! Our designers have created a small space miracle out of the equipment/cargo compartment. Despite the compact wheelbase of 3250 mm, all wishes regarding the accommodation of the equipment could be fully implemented in a shelving module system. This has resulted in maximum storage space with a perfect overview, handling and best accessibility.
We would like to thank the on-call manager Mr. Helge-Franz Grassl and the DRK project manager Mr. Peter Kurz for the constructive and excellent cooperation.
We wish the chambermaids of Bereitschaft 12 Weilimdorf a safe journey and safe, successful missions in the metropolitan region of Stuttgart.
