It was a celebration for everyone. Not only St. Nicholas came on 6.12. to BINZ in Plauen, but also 50 students of the 7th grade of the Secondary school Weischlitz/Plauen for the kick-off of the joint project. Over the next four years, all of them will get to know the entire BINZ company – from administration to purchasing, quality, sales and, of course, production with assembly, painting, interior production, electrical engineering… and and and.
The aim of the project is to bring young people closer to industry and make them understand it in the truest sense of the word. Over the years, the classes will be taught about the variety of development opportunities in a medium-sized company. An apprenticeship can be an excellent springboard for an exciting career in business – regional companies offer the best conditions for this.
The fact is, we have undertaken a huge project. But the first day wiped away every little doubt. Both the young people and the BINZers took a lot away from this day. Beaming faces everywhere. What pleased us most was the great interest and the many questions from the students – it was great to observe the patience with which our employees answered.
Our thanks go to all those who helped prepare and implement the first day at the company, first and foremost our training manager Christoph Steger and over 20 employees.
The reaction of one student at the end of the day after saying goodbye: Too bad we have school again tomorrow; I find it more exciting here!
No problem, young man – we’ll see you again soon. Until then, do your best at school and if all goes well, we’ll have a great trainee in the medium term. 😊
We are absolutely excited about the continuation of the project… and maybe the BINZ macht Schule project will also make its mark in the region?
