The vehicle is equipped with 230V external electrical feed, an emergency generator, a comprehensive energy concept, an emergency starting device and an accident data recorder.
The ELW 1 was divided into a work room, a secured technical room behind the left sliding door and a rear equipment room with loading. The lighting in the driver and crew areas can be dimmed in several stages and is also equipped with green night lighting.
The driver’s and passenger’s seats can be rotated, thus converting them into two fully-fledged additional workstations. In addition to a multifunction printer, the air-conditioned workspace is also equipped with a wide range of control center technology for different operational situations. In the interior, an anti-slip, easy-care and extremely hard-wearing sprayed floor ensures maximum safety. The high-performance LED lighting 2 x right, 2 x left, at the rear provide very good illumination in the vicinity of the vehicle. A specially made and durable shelf system in the separated rear area provides adapted storage space for the materials carried.
The DBS 4000 special signaling system with power flash, day/night sensors, with the BE 314 control unit of the 624 sound sequence system with compressor simulation and a Hänsch rod microphone for outside announcements are, in combination with the Sputnik Nano front flash system, reliable companions in the field. In the rear area, a further DBS 4000, as well as the red, attachable deployment control signal lamp on the roof, ensure optimum visibility.
